In addition to presenting some of the world's leading poets reading their own work to audiences in Sefton (Les Murray, Brendan Kennely, U.A. Fanthorpe, Carol Ann Duffy, Andrew Motion), Sefton Arts Development also organises a programme of poetry and music events by local poets at venues such as Stamps Bistro in Crosby and The Freshfield Hotel in Formby and also supports poetry publishing house, Driftwood Publications.
